You don’t have to travel far to witness hardship. Here in our backyards, in the Booker T. Washington neighborhood, families struggle every day against serious odds. Poverty and crime persist. The Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition is embedded in this community, helping residents reach for a better life, despite all the challenges.
People like you stand behind BNDC’s vision of a Brevard where all people can live in safe, decent neighborhoods and where children can reach their potential. At our DOCK, children study, pray and play together, learning basic tenets that will serve them well as they grow into adulthood.
Your gift, regardless of size, strengthens our community and builds a legacy of hope.
Just $7.50 a week, for example, provides a hungry child at our DOCK with summer lunches and after-school snacks so they can better focus on learning.
$10 a week outfits 25 at-risk kids with school supplies and computer access/supplies so they can be on a “level playing field” with their school peers.
$18 a month supports lighting of the walkways at Greater Heights apartments, helping to assure a safe environment for the hard working single moms and their children who live there .
Please, help us reach out to our neighbors!
Rooted in our faith, BNDC is committed to bringing hope and opportunity to Brevard’s poorest neighborhoods, but we need your help.
By making a gift to BNDC, you are sending a message that you believe that faith, when put into action, can change lives.
They enrich the lives of children at the DOCK, prepare publicity and correspondence, maintain the database, plan special events, fix computers and keep our landscape in tip-top shape. There’s nothing our volunteers can’t do! We invite you to share your very special talents and join this amazing bunch of folks. Please call us for more information on volunteer opportunities. Thanks!
